An Uncommon Question

So, what comes to mind if someone was to say the word ‘success’. Now obviously the meaning of success is subjective depending on our individual goals, although you may instantly think of things like: Money, cars, yachts and luxury and the lack of worry and stress when you hear the word.. And you’d be correct, in fact this what I’m relating the word ‘success’ to. The dictionary definition of success is ‘the accomplishmnt of an aim or purpose.’ For most people in business their ‘aim’ as such is to get money and live a comfortable life; is such an achievement possible at such a young age? Well that is exactly what I’ll be exploring in this post; you can either choose to explore this topic with me or leave now.
I originally thought of this question when I was young myself, and I have been interested in business and success from a young age; I’ve read and heard about the supermen in business such as Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg and Warren Buffet and their abundant success, and I’m sure anyone reading this knows of at least one of these people, but what do all three of these men have in common apart from being incredibly successful? They’re all adults! Therefore the logical answer would be that you cannot be as successful as these men whilst being ‘a kid’. However. Nowadays logic isn’t always right.
Ask yourself this question: If you have a goal or an aim that you want to accomplish in the next 10 years, why can’t you accomplish it in the next 6 months? (I personally cannot take any credit for that question as the principal of it came from an author called Grant Cardone.) Now obviously with some goals completing them in the next 6 months just isn’t physically possible. However it’s still a very good question to ask yourself. This was in fact the exact question that first sparked the question in my head of whether I could reach my goals and be successful at a young age. It is popular belief that you are in control of your own ability, and that your mindset is incredibly important if you want to be successful as it determines your success. Meaning that if you believe that you can do something, then you’re already halfway there, as cliché as it may be.
Taking all of what’s been said into account, I do subjectively believe that with the right help people at very young ages will be able to be successful as these business super-humans; as outrageous as it sounds. But at the end of the day I suppose who actually knows if it’s possible until it happens…
